This is a very original 1969 MGC GT with three speed Borg Warner automatic of which only 249 were made of 906 total MGC GTs. Unfortunately the DPO threw away the original front fenders long ago. Everything else should be there, the two brake boosters, seat belts, air cleaner housing, healight buckets, the chrome trim for the drivers rear panel, etc if you are curious about something send me a message and I will check that it is there. The previous owner had cut out the rusty section of the drivers floor, see in the pictures the structure underneath it is was solid. They also started cutting out the rocker panels which will need replaced as well as the lower bit of the rear fenders. The rest of the floor and trunk floor is solid as well as the mounts for the torsion bars.
In the trunk is the original spare wire wheel and tire as well as the jack. The interior was taken out of the car 30 years ago and stored in a dry basement, the seats therefor look almost new and are not hardened with age. The tires are Goodyear P165/80R15 on the original wire wheels.
The car was last on the road in 1980 and has an Iowa inspection spicker from that year on the center of the windsheild. It is still currently registered, titled and insured for the road in Iowa. The car does run with the engine and transmission appearing to be in fine shape.
In the box of parts that came with the car I found a very old sign that appears to be from a car show the car was entered into when it had 27000 miles.
